HOLIDAY SPIRIT!

Our community was full of spirit for Halloween! Thanks to all who spent time decorating and thanks to all who contributed to the sugar high of hundreds of kids! :-)

The HOA is planning the winter holiday home decoration contest and other fun activities. We welcome any community ideas you may have during the winter holidays.

We’re excited to start planning a neighborhood Park Party for this Spring! To make this event a success, we’d love to hear from you. REPORT & RESOLVE

On June 7–8, the sprinklers on the East side of the greenway malfunctioned and didn’t shut off as scheduled. Thanks to a considerate neighbor who reported the issue, it was resolved. This incident was a good reminder that not everyone knows how to report problems like this. Report by calling the maintenance emergency line ASAP.

SLOW DOWN

Keep our families safe by SLOWING DOWN, watching for children and pets, and abiding by the 15 MPH speed limit signs posted throughout our community.

Plan your trip a few minutes early to avoid rushing. :-)

NO PARKING ZONES

Parking is only allowed on one side of the street for safety and traffic flow. It helps to ensure that there's enough space for two-way traffic and prevents accidents caused by vehicles exiting parking spots into oncoming traffic. Be aware of the NO PARKING signs and advise visitors. Park in the direction of travel not against traffic, with your vehicle completely on the street, not on the sidewalk. Contact Brandon Moore if you notice faded or missing signs in your area.

BARKING DOGS

In Phoenix, a habitually barking or howling dog that disturbs the peace is considered a Class 1 misdemeanor. This means a dog owner could face penalties including fines and potential jail time.

Be a responsible pet owner by demonstrating a willingness to address the problem and be considerate of your neighbors.

OUTGOING MAIL

The outgoing mail slots in the community mail boxes are blocked to prevent theft.

There are drive-up mail boxes at the USPS post office on 6825 South 7th Street; off of Vineyard.

WARNING: the USPS mailbox at Fry’s on Baseline and 7th St has been tampered with in the past - use at your own discretion.

Appointments are now available for bulk trash pickups! You can call 602-262-6251 or make an appointment on line.

BEFORE YOU START

Submit an Architectural Request
If you’re planning to make exterior improvements such as: Painting, Driveways, New Screen Doors or Gates, Removal/Planting Trees, you must submit an Architectural Request. Most get approved in a timely manner. Contact Brandon for a form.

PIGEONS

Help control the Pigeon population by trimming trees, using bird spikes, bird netting or wires, and trapping. The use of poisons or shooting is prohibited in our community.

JAVELINAS HAVE BEEN SEEN IN THE COMMUNITY

Javelinas are protected in Arizona and it is illegal to injure, trap, or kill them outside of designated hunting grounds or without the proper permits. It's best to avoid them if you can. For more information on "living with Javelinas' and how to report sick or injured wildlife, visit the Arizona Game and Fish website.
