Community Garage Sale
Our community yard sales are held the 2nd Weekend in March and November.
The gates will be held open from 7:00am to 3:00pm on all three days.
If you’re having a sale you can post signs in the community at common intersections to direct visitors.
Recycling Information
We intend to help the environment when we recycle. But are you aware that some items are not accepted in our recycling (blue) bins?

Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)
If you’re starting some spring cleaning, remember to dispose of hazardous items properly! Book a Household Hazardous Waste appointment at no cost and have dangerous items like batteries, paints, oils, aerosols, and more collected from your doorstep. Be sure to check the list of accepted items ahead of time!
$5 Compost Bins
If you would like to compost on your own at home, the City offers composters (constructed from old garbage cans) for $5 each. To purchase one, please send an email to solid.waste@phoenix.gov with your name, phone number, and address and we’ll let you know when your composter is ready at one of our two transfer stations.

Report & Resolve
On June 7–8, the sprinklers on the East side of the greenway malfunctioned and didn’t shut off as scheduled. Thanks to a considerate neighbor who reported the issue, it was resolved. This incident was a good reminder that not everyone knows how to report problems like this. Report by calling the maintenance emergency line ASAP.

Slow Down Community Speed Limit is 15 mph
Keep our families safe by SLOWING DOWN, watching for children and pets, and abiding by the 15 MPH speed limit signs posted throughout our community.
Plan your trip a few minutes early to avoid rushing. :-)
No Parking Zone
Parking is only allowed on one side of the street for safety and traffic flow. It helps to ensure that there's enough space for two-way traffic and prevents accidents caused by vehicles exiting parking spots into oncoming traffic. Be aware of the NO PARKING signs and advise visitors. Park in the direction of travel not against traffic, with your vehicle completely on the street, not on the sidewalk. Contact Brandon Moore if you notice faded or missing signs in your area.
Barking Dogs
In Phoenix, a habitually barking or howling dog that disturbs the peace is considered a Class 1 misdemeanor. This means a dog owner could face penalties including fines and potential jail time.
Be a responsible pet owner by demonstrating a willingness to address the problem and be considerate of your neighbors.
Outgoing Mail
The outgoing mail slots in the community mail boxes are blocked to prevent theft.
There are drive-up mail boxes at the USPS post office on 6825 South 7th Street; off of Vineyard.
WARNING: the USPS mailbox at Fry’s on Baseline and 7th St has been tampered with in the past - use at your own discretion.
